Introducing Xiaodongtian

Xiaodongtian (Little Cave Heaven) is located on the coast 40 kilometers west of Sanya City, approximately 13 kilometers from Tianya Haijiao (End of the World), and is included in the Xiaodongtian and Dadongtian scenic areas. This scenic spot was discovered by the commander of Jiyang Army during the Song Dynasty and later built by Mao Kui, the prefect of Yazhou. It was Huang Gongwang's daily residence, and its furnishings are full of life: a kitchen stove, firewood, and water tanks; an antique eight-immortals table in the living room; and a wooden bed, wooden boxes, and wardrobes on one side.

Here, a unique and beautiful combination of seascapes, mountainscapes, and rock formations blend seamlessly, creating a truly spectacular spectacle. Yazhou Bay arcs for hundreds of miles, its waves boundless in azure waters; Aoshan Mountain is shrouded in deep clouds and verdant forests, with its unique rock formations and secluded caves; and the coastline is dotted with magnificent rock formations of varying sizes, each shaped like a simple and elegant scroll painting.
