Introducing Kanda

Shentian, or more accurately, Bianshiba, is located within the Jiuxiang Scenic Area. Due to its sheer size and number, it's been dubbed a "Bianshiba" by cave experts both domestically and internationally. The largest of these, at over 100 square meters and approximately 10 meters deep, is the largest Bianshibaba in any developed cave scenic area in the world.

Jiuxiang Shentian is a rare large-scale cave-side rock dam complex in China, with beautiful shapes and a well-proportioned layout. This complex of rock dams is formed by the fact that groundwater flows downward in sheets along the slope of the cave wall. When it encounters an obstruction, the hydrodynamic conditions change, causing carbon dioxide to escape from the water and calcium carbonate to accumulate and form dams. This accumulation over the years has led to the formation of this rock dam complex.

Jiuxiang's sacred fields come in a variety of shapes. The largest are truly spectacular, while the smallest require a microscope to see. From a distance, they resemble layers of man-made terraces, row upon row, crisscrossed by paths, and arranged in a meticulously arranged pattern. The clear, shimmering waters of the sacred fields resemble the shimmering fields of a farmer.
