"Kunming Old Street" is located in the jurisdiction of Huguo Sub-district Office, Wuhua District, Kunming City. It stretches from Zhengyi Road in the east to Yunrui West Road in the west, from Renmin Middle Road (including the Confucian Temple) in the north to the southern section of Jingxing Street in the south, covering more than ten old streets and alleys in the block.

The Kunming Old Street area boasts 23 historical buildings designated as protected by provincial, municipal, and district authorities, with traditional architecture comprising over half of the street's total area.
