Introducing Wujiatang Wetland Park

Wujiatang Wetland Park is located in Liujia Township and Xiaobanqiao, Guandu Town. It borders the Baoxiang River to the south, the Wujia River to the north, and Dianchi Lake to the west. Composed primarily of water, mudflats, and marshes, it covers approximately 1,300 mu (approximately 1,300 mu), equivalent to the size of four Cuihu Parks. The project, with an investment of 530 million yuan, is being carried out in two phases. Phase one is now largely complete, featuring a reception center, parking lots, public toilets, a viewing path for visitors, and a 60-meter entrance road.

The former mudflats have now become a beautiful lakescape. Water lilies bloom amidst the croaking of frogs, reeds sway in the gentle breeze, and numerous "interlinked ponds" of varying sizes recreate the original natural beauty of Dianchi Lake. In particular, the turbid river water, filtered through the wetlands, removes a staggering 34% to 84% of major pollutants. This beauty amazed visiting EU environmental experts: "Truly natural wetlands covering thousands of acres are rare in China."
