The Bulongsai Village Cultural Tourism Area is located in Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County, Hainan Province, just 500 meters from the Yanoda Tropical Rainforest Scenic Area. Originally an impoverished mountain village, it has benefited from capital injections from foreign companies during the new rural development process, with villagers contributing land as equity and collaborating with the companies to develop unique tourism. During the development of the scenic area, Bulong Village has retained the distinctive features of Li dwellings, particularly the boat-shaped roofs. Its novel appearance, combined with traditional ethnic elements, makes it well worth a visit.
The entire town, nestled within the tropical rainforest, boasts fresh air and a distinct Li ethnic charm, where local residents still live. Upon entering the scenic area, you'll be greeted by vibrantly colored, two-story villas reminiscent of the Li ethnic group, nestled among the giant-leaved tropical trees. The tourist area now includes resort villas and a commercial street, offering a pleasant stay for a day, where you can experience farm work, make pottery, enjoy a barbecue, or stroll along the rural plank roads.
