However, with the ongoing development of the Luhuitou Scenic Area, the village was included in the demolition program, and is now nearly complete. With new buildings still under construction, the village is dotted with ruins. However, the beach and ocean views are still worth a visit. It's also very close to Luhuitou Park and Xiaodonghai Lake.
