The Tiantai Mountain Canyon Scenic Area is located in Xiaying Town, Ji County, Tianjin. It is connected between the two major tourist attractions of Huangyaguan and Jiushanding. It is connected to Shuangfeng Mountain in the north, Jiushanding in the east, Huluyu in the west, and across the road from Guojiagou in the south. It covers a total area of 12 square kilometers, including Tiantai Mountain, Jizhou Grand Canyon, Taoyuan Valley, Beijingyu Ancient Village, Longfeng Valley, the Ancient Great Wall, the virgin forest, Chedaoyu Village in the north, Jiushanding and other core characteristic tourist resources.
The scenic area integrates mountain sightseeing, tours of the Middle and Upper Proterozoic National Geopark, canyon exploration, prayers for safety, ancient village customs, farm meals, ecological picking, entertainment experiences, and leisure vacations. It is one of the important leisure and tourism resorts that has been recently developed and rapidly rising in Jixian County.
