Jinuo Village is a cultural experience site showcasing the culture of the Jinuo people, China's 56th ethnic group and one of China's ethnic minorities. Jinuo Village has been designated a Jinuo Traditional Cultural Protection Area in Xishuangbanna Prefecture and officially began welcoming visitors on June 1, 2006. Much of Jinuo culture has been designated as a national intangible cultural heritage, including the Jinuo drum dance and the hunting instruments "Chiko" and "Bugu." The Jinuo cultural experience project, "Youle Youle," offers a live performance to enhance the cultural experience and provide a more comprehensive understanding of Jinuo culture.
