Tawusani, a Kazakh word meaning "beautiful ravine," is a vibrant landscape filled with flowers, grasses, forests, streams, blue skies, snow-capped peaks, herds of cattle and sheep, and scattered yurts. The perfect blend of snow-capped peaks, lush forests, verdant hills, and flat meadows creates a unique vertical landscape, creating a unique "one mountain, four distinct views."

Tawusani is located near Yining in Xinjiang. Visitors can reach it by taxi or private car from Yining city. Public buses may connect to nearby villages, but direct public transport to the site is limited. Walking is recommended once inside the scenic area.
The scenic area is typically open from 8:00 to 18:00. The best time to visit is during late spring to early autumn (May to September) when the weather is mild and landscapes are lush and colorful.
Entrance fees vary but are generally affordable. Tickets can usually be purchased at the site’s entrance. Online booking options may be available through local tourism platforms.
