The Sky Grassland, a national AAA-level tourist attraction, is located on the top of the Taihang Mountains at the junction of Weixian County, Hebei Province, Laiyuan County, and Lingqiu County, Shanxi Province, with an altitude of 2,158 meters. Most of its area is located in Weixian County. It is a vast grassland with flat ground, green grass and wild flowers.
There is also a thousand-year-old ice cave on the grassland, and there is thousand-year-old black ice in the dog days of summer, which is refreshing.

Sky Grassland is open year-round, but the best times to visit are during late spring to early autumn (May to October) when the weather is pleasant and the grasslands are lush and green. Winter visits are also possible, offering a unique winter landscape.
