
Located in Midong District, Urumqi, Xinjiang, Hongguang Mountain Ecological Park, nestled on Hongguang Mountain, covers 15,000 mu (approximately 15,000 mu) and is a large-scale ecological and cultural tourism park. The park features an observation deck, an ecological landscape forest, a zoo, a group of statues depicting myths from the Journey to the West story, a sun-lit swimming pool, and a kilometer-long grape corridor. Among the most notable features are the 38.8-meter-tall golden statue of Tathagata and the Hongguang Mountain Buddhist temple complex. The temple complex, comprised of a towering memorial archway, a Buddha foot altar, a Golden Water Bridge, a Dripping Guanyin statue, four great Vajra statues, and an Amitabha Buddha statue, attracts numerous tourists and pilgrims.
