
Baishan Power Plant Industrial Tourism Scenic Area is located in Jilin City, Jilin Province, and is a scenic area under the jurisdiction of Baishan Power Plant.
After more than 20 years of development and growth, it has accumulated rich experience in the tourism service industry and has a long-standing reputation in the national power system.
The scenic area boasts unique tourism resources. The Baishan Power Plant Water Conservancy Project is the largest hydropower plant in the Northeast China Power Grid in terms of installed capacity, and the largest underground hydropower plant in Asia. It also boasts the most hydropower generation forms in my country, and even in the world.
It was named a patriotism education base in 2000 and qualified as a China Industrial Tourism Demonstration Site in 2010.
The vast Baishan Lake and Hongshi Lake are both managed by the Baishan Power Plant, the only one of its kind in my country.
