Introducing Jin'e Mountain
Jin'e Mountain forms the boundary between Fenghua and Yinzhou, flanked by Fenghua's Xiwu and Yinzhou's Hengxi. Siming Tanzhu records that Jin'e Mountain boasts "caves suitable for habitation and flat, rocky fields, which ancient people considered the site of immortals." There is a Jin'e Village on each side of the mountain. The azalea-rich peak is located in Jin'e Village in Fenghua, while a golden Maitreya Buddha stands on the eastern slope on the Yinzhou side. A ridgeline hiking trail connects the two points, making it a popular hiking route in Ningbo. During the pandemic, experienced hikers made the journey from Hengxi to enjoy the blossoms.
