Introducing Wuhan Happy Valley

There are two real-life locations of the Purple Sky Palace. One is a Taoist temple in Huai'an. According to "Records of the Reconstruction of the Purple Sky Palace," written by Jin Xian, a Ming Dynasty scholar in the Xinyou year of the Zhengtong reign (1481), the Huai'an Purple Sky Palace was first built in the Jin Dynasty and flourished during the Tang and Song dynasties. Due to war, it was reduced to ruins by the time of liberation. In the early 1980s, the Huai'an County People's Government built the largest bus station in northern Jiangsu on the site. The other is the Hubei Purple Sky Palace, designated as a second-batch National Key Cultural Relics Protection Site by the State Council on February 24, 1982. The Purple Sky Palace is located at the foot of Zhanqi Peak, northeast of Tianzhu Peak, the main peak of Wudang Mountain in Hubei Province.
