Daluo Mountain, located at the junction of Qingcheng District and Qingxin District in Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, stands at 957 meters above sea level. It is the highest peak in Qingcheng District and a popular hiking destination for outdoor enthusiasts in the Pearl River Delta region. Known for its peculiar peaks and rocks, steep terrain, and magnificent views, it is known as the "Little Zhangjiajie of Qingyuan."
Daluo Mountain is mainly composed of the East Main Peak (Stone Peak) and the West Main Peak (Earth Peak). Among them, the Stone Peak, with its exposed boulders, cliffs and 360° panoramic view, has become the ultimate challenge goal for hikers.
Spring and Autumn (March-May, September-November): The weather is cool and suitable for hiking, especially in March and April when the azaleas are in full bloom, creating a stunning contrast between the pink and purple flowers and the unique rocks on the mountain ridges.
Winter (December-February): Morning mist lingers, creating a magnificent sea of clouds, but be sure to dress warmly.
Summer (June-August): The weather is hot, so it is recommended to hike in the early morning or evening to avoid the midday sun.
1. East Main Peak (Stone Peak)
Features: Bare boulders and steep cliffs offer excellent views from the summit, overlooking Qingyuan city and the surrounding mountains.
Challenge: The final section requires scrambling over boulders using both hands and feet, making it suitable for hikers with some outdoor experience.
2. West Main Peak (Tufeng)
Features: Dense vegetation and shrubs surround the relatively flat route, making it suitable for beginners or families.
Viewpoint: Enjoy a distant view of the stone peaks and experience the unique contrast of "one mountain, two views."
3. High Mountain Tea Garden (starting point of the hike)
Features: A vast tea plantation at 600 meters above sea level offers fresh air and serves as a great starting point for a warm-up.

4. Azalea Sea (April Only)
Location: Dingluobei and Changkeng Ridge.
