
The Jinzi Mountain Ecological Leisure and Resort Scenic Area (also known as Xiaohua Mountain in Nanyue) is located within the provincial-level ecological public welfare forest area of Jinzi Village, Lianshan State-Owned Forest Farm, Lianshan Zhuang and Yao Autonomous County. Located at the junction of Guangdong, Hunan, and Guangxi provinces, the scenic area is a must-see for scenic trips along the border of these three provinces.
The main peak of the scenic area is 1,417 meters above sea level and is the eighth highest peak in Guangdong. The scenic area is positioned as a comprehensive leisure and tourism resort area where one can enjoy the border town scenery of Guangdong, Hunan and Guangxi provinces from a high vantage point, and is a reception base for self-driving tours of the three provinces, and is also a sightseeing, adventure, recuperation, vacation and leisure, and scientific ecotourism destination.
The first is the strange rocks, with the uncanny "Jade Girl Smiles, Golden Boy Drunk" Yin and Yang mountain landscapes, among which the "Jade Girl Smiles" landscape is known as "the most beautiful peak in Lingnan";
The second is the cultural and historical resources of "The Empress Dowager of the Ming Dynasty who came out of Lianshan Yao Village". Li Tangmei, the mother of Emperor Xiaozong of the Ming Dynasty, was from Yonghe Town, Lianshan. The Queen's Well and Ming Dynasty cliff carvings are still preserved in the scenic area (recorded in Volume 13 of "History of Ming Dynasty");
The third is Jinzi Mountain, the eighth highest peak in Guangdong, with its unique geographical location of "viewing three provinces from one mountain"; the fourth is the rare ice and snow, virgin forest and air resources in the south.
