Baipulung Valley, located in Baiyu Village, Yuxu Township, Bomi County, Nyingchi City, Tibet, has become a popular hiking route in Bomi County in recent years, earning the nickname "The Utopia of Southeast Tibet." The Baipulung Glacier is the central attraction, its massive glacier tongue stretching from the canyon to the end of the pasture, creating a stunning visual feast alongside the surrounding snow-capped mountains and forests.
Summer (June-August):
Features: The cool climate, lush pastures, and clear streams make it a great place for hiking in the summer heat.
Note: Landslides may occur during the rainy season, so follow your guide's advice and traverse dangerous sections quickly.
Autumn (October-November):
Highlights: Colorful forests blanket the mountains, interweaving golden, orange, and dark green. Glaciers and autumn colors blend seamlessly, creating an ideal backdrop for photography.
Recommended: Combine this trip with other autumn attractions in Bomi, such as the Gangyun Spruce Forest.
Winter (December-February):
Highlights: Snow-covered pastures and glaciers, with lush trees and branches, are a fairytale scene. However, risks are high (heavy snowfall and low temperatures).
Important: Hire a local guide, wear cold-resistant and slip-resistant gear, and avoid traveling alone.

Starting Point: Baiyu Village (approximately a one-hour drive from Bomi County).
Itinerary: Baiyu Village → 6-kilometer drive → hiking starting point → Baipulonggou Ranch (16 kilometers one-way, approximately 32 kilometers round trip).
Altitude: Starting point approximately 3,000 meters, ending at the ranch approximately 4,000 meters, for a total ascent of approximately 1,000 meters.
Duration: 8-10 hours round trip (one-day trip). It is recommended to depart early in the morning and return before dusk.
Difficulty: Moderate to above average, with some sections rugged and slippery, requiring a reasonable level of fitness.
