Zhongfeng Cave (also known as Foguang Cave), located in the heart of the Nuoshui River National AAAA Scenic Area in Bazhong, Sichuan, stands adjacent to Nuoshui Cave, Asia's premier rafting cave, creating a breathtaking spectacle. Zhongfeng Cave consists of three levels: upper, middle, and lower. It boasts 13 scenic areas, 36 branch caves, 72 mazes, and 108 unique sights. The caverns stretch 18 kilometers, covering over 800,000 square meters. The height difference between the upper and lower entrances is over 200 meters, with the widest span measuring 700 meters. The average height and width range from 100 to 300 meters. Within the cave, there is a large cave sea, two underground rivers, three convection outlets, four mysterious canyons, and five eerie mazes.
Zhongfeng Cave combines the characteristics of grandeur, danger, strangeness, seclusion, and depth. With caves within caves and rivers within rivers, the caves connect to each other, creating a crisscross of canyons. Each cave has its own unique scenery, each one breathtaking. The temperature in the cave is kept constant at around 20 degrees all year round. The humidity index, air quality, comfort level and recuperation index are unique among the developed caves at home and abroad.
