Zhinan Village is located at the foot of Tianmu Mountain in the east of Lin'an, on the bank of Nanshaoxi River at the source of Taihu Lake. It is close to famous tourist attractions such as Shenlongchuan, Taihuyuan, and Tianhuangping. It is an ancient village with a history of thousands of years.
The village boasts a forest coverage rate exceeding 93%. Behind the village stand over 200 towering ancient trees, including rare species such as Liquidambar, Ginkgo, Cryptomeria, and Castanea, the oldest of which is over 900 years old. Warm in winter and cool in summer, with birds singing and flowers blooming, and daytime temperatures staying below 30°C, it's a perfect place to escape the summer heat. In late autumn, the golden ginkgo and fiery red maple trees paint the area like a "splash of rich ink on a mountain landscape." It's one of the most beautiful autumn viewing spots in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, a paradise for photography enthusiasts, and is hailed by outdoor enthusiasts as one of the most beautiful ancient villages in East China.
