
Sangzhou Town is located in the southwest of Ninghai County. It was formed by the merger of the former Sangzhou Town and Mashan Township. Geographically, it is the southernmost town in Ninghai.
In March, the grass is green and the birds are singing, and rapeseed flowers are everywhere. The mountains of Sangzhou Town in Ninghai County are in full bloom, immersing you in a sea of yellow. The terraced rapeseed fields are a hallmark of this area. As you ascend the winding mountain road, you'll be greeted by a sea of blossoms, including purple grass seed flowers – a truly breathtaking sight.

Located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, Sangzhou rapeseed fields can be reached by taxi or local bus from Ningbo city center. Walking or cycling within the fields is recommended for full exploration.
The rapeseed fields are accessible year-round, but the best time to visit is typically from late February to early April when the flowers are in full bloom.
Some fields may charge a small entrance fee during peak season, payable offline at the entrance. Online booking may be available for larger festival events.
For regular visits, booking is not required. For flower festivals, tickets can be booked 1–2 weeks in advance to ensure entry.
