Introducing Yangshuo

Yangshuo County, under the jurisdiction of Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in northeastern Guangxi, south of Guilin City. The county has a total population of 308,300 and administers six towns and three townships, representing 11 ethnic groups, including Han, Zhuang, Yao, and Hui. Yangshuo County's topography is primarily rocky and hilly, with a minor presence of mountainous terrain. The northeastern and southwestern regions are elevated, forming the borders of the Haiyang Mountain Range (Eastern Yao Mountain) and the Jiaqiaoling Mountain Range (Western Yao Mountain). West Street

The oldest and most prosperous street in Yangshuo, with a history of more than 1,400 years, is also one of the important tourist attractions in Yangshuo.

West Street is a collection of many activities, including eating, shopping, and bar-hopping. Because of this rich and colorful atmosphere, it has become a unique and beautiful landscape in Yangshuo.

The street, less than 1km long, is paved with stone slabs and curved in an S-shape. The houses on both sides are simple and elegant, in the style of the Ming and Qing dynasties in northern Guangxi, with small green tiles, sloping roofs, whitewashed walls, and hanging balconies.

The streets are filled with various tourist souvenirs, and the shops on both sides are a combination of Chinese and Western styles. Almost all the signs are in Chinese and English, and the waiters can serve tourists in fluent foreign languages.
