
Guishan TV Tower (full name Hubei Guishan Radio and Television Tower) is the first reinforced concrete radio and television transmission tower designed and constructed in my country that combines tourism.
The tower broke ground on December 16, 1981 and was completed and put into use in June 1986.
The tower is 221.2 meters high, 311.4 meters above sea level, and has a relative height of 280 meters. In terms of height, it was the highest in the country when it was built.
Guishan TV Tower is the first TV tower in China. It is located on the top of Guishan Mountain in Hanyang, Wuhan, at the intersection of the Yangtze River and Han River. It is a famous tourist attraction and city landmark in Wuhan, echoing the Yellow Crane Tower in the distance. At its foot are Qingchuan Pavilion and the "First Bridge across the Yangtze River" - Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, and behind it is Guqin Terrace, one of the "Three Chu Scenic Spots".

The Guishan TV Tower is located on the top of Guishan Mountain in Hanyang, and has become a scenic tourist spot that echoes the Yellow Crane Tower on the top of Snake Mountain in Wuchang, across the Yangtze River. When the weather is clear, you can climb the tower and take in the panoramic view of the river city.

Open daily, typically from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Late afternoon to sunset is ideal for cityscape and sunset photography.
Entrance fees are around 60–80 CNY. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance or online through local travel platforms.
Booking in advance is recommended during weekends and public holidays, usually 1–3 days prior is sufficient.

Guided tours are rarely offered; no standard audio guides are provided. Private tours may be arranged in English or Chinese through travel agencies.

Night visits are limited; the tower is illuminated externally, but interior night access may be restricted. Special exhibitions occur occasionally.
