Zaxigang Village is located in Lulang Town, Bayi District, Nyingchi City, Tibet. It is about 8km east of Lulang Town to reach Zaxigang Folk Village. According to legend, Princess Wencheng passed by here and was fascinated by the fairy-like scenery. She named it "Zaxigang", which means "auspicious slope".

The pastoral scenery along the way, with lush vegetation, cattle and sheep strolling leisurely, chickens and dogs barking at each other, crisscrossing fences, and fields stretching across the country, perfectly interprets the name of "Tibet's Little Switzerland"
