
Quzhou is located in the western part of Zhejiang Province, on the third terrace of my country's terrain. The area is mainly composed of mountains and hills. The mountains are vast and mostly covered with forests.
The natural scenery is beautiful, with mountains, rivers and waters as the head of the world natural heritage Jianglang Mountain, as well as Taizhen Cave, the western Zhejiang prairie, Jiangshan Golden Nail, Changshan Huangnitang Golden Nail, Xiaohunan Jointed Stone Pillar, and Fugai Mountain Cave Group.
The main cultural attractions include the Nianbadu Ancient Town, Hemu Painted Pottery Cultural Village, Qingyang Mao Family Cultural Village, Xiashan Ancient Residences, Longyou Grottoes, Jiuhua Spring Temple, etc.
Quzhou City is located on the coast and is influenced by the ocean climate. It has a subtropical monsoon climate with distinct four seasons. Spring and autumn are the best time to travel.
Nianbadu Ancient Town
Nianbadu is nestled in the high mountains and deep valleys of Xianxialing in Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, boasting a strategic location. Flanked by numerous passes, including Anmin Pass in the east, Fengling Pass in the south, Liushi Pass in the west, and Xianxia Pass in the north, it is easily defended but difficult to attack. The town, with its long, narrow layout, retains its ancient architectural style. Fengxi River flows through the town from north to south, with dwellings nestled against the hillside and along the water. Amidst the verdant mountains and clear waters, a cluster of well-preserved ancient buildings, with black tiles and green walls, stands in a staggered arrangement, retaining their 19th-century appearance.
Jianglang Mountain
Jianglang Mountain is located in Shimen Town, Jiangshan City, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It consists of six parts: Three Stone Peaks, Eighteen Bends, Tashan, Xunu Lake, Xianju Temple and the entrance area. It is mainly characterized by "Strange Peaks and Red Cliffs" and is famous for the majestic and peculiar "Three Pieces of Stone". It has the first strangest peak of China's Danxia, the largest one-line sky in the country, the naturally created Great Man Peak, the thrilling and steep Langfeng Tianyou, the thousand-year-old Kaiming Zen Temple, the thousand-year-old Jianglang Academy, the largest cliff carving in the country with Mao Zedong's handwriting "The Countryside Is So Beautiful", "Yanxia Pavilion" and more than 100 other scenic spots and landscapes.
