Introducing Yao Jiangyuan

The Yao River, originating in the Siming Mountains of Yuyao, Ningbo, Zhejiang, flows over 100 kilometers from west to east into the sea. Its source is located on the eastern slope of Zuomiangangtou, in Dalan Village, Dalan Town. With an average elevation of 550 meters, it is surrounded by mountains, lush forests, and thousands of acres of tea plantations. It is the source of one of the three major river systems: the Yao River, the Cao'e River, and the Fenghua River.

When the water vapor is abundant, clouds and mist linger, giving visitors the feeling of entering a fairyland on earth. The source of the Yao River is composed of two springs, one in front and one behind. Regardless of drought or freezing weather, the springs flow all year round. Above it is a stone tablet engraved with five bold and bold characters in regular script: "Yuyao River Source".
