Wuying National Forest Park is the place where the red pine virgin forest is best preserved. It is also the largest, most complete and most representative red pine virgin forest distribution center in Asia.
Upon entering the scenic area, you'll see the "Shaoqi Train," which Liu Shaoqi used to travel to the front lines of production in his later years. Further in, you'll find a wooden plank road and a pine forest. In September and October, if you're lucky, you might spot large pine cones on the ground, which, when peeled open, reveal plump pine nuts.
The most worth-seeing place in the scenic area is Tianci Lake, a typical alpine lake with calm water and vast pine forests in the distance, which are set against the blue sky and are extremely beautiful.
The temperate continental humid monsoon climate makes travel suitable all year round
