Taiyang Mountain in Xiapu Town, Tongshan County, Hubei Province, is located in the middle of the Mufu Mountain Range and is a virgin, undeveloped tourist destination. Legend has it that Liu Bowen, military advisor to Ming Dynasty Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang, lived there in seclusion.

Along Feilong Gorge, you'll find waterfalls and deep pools everywhere. The interweaving of pools and waterfalls creates the unique landscape of Taiyang Mountain. Wherever there's a pool, there's a waterfall, and wherever there's a waterfall, there's a pool. The waterfalls vary in shape and size, but the water in each pool is clear and sweet. Large pools are like small ponds, measuring several dozen steps in radius, while smaller pools are like large basins, three or four meters in diameter.
