The Song'ao Ancient Road (also known as the Dasongling Ancient Road), Ningbo's 1,000-year-old ancient road, was built during the Ming Dynasty. It served as a crucial route for residents of Dasong and Xianxiang traveling north to Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Ningbo. With the construction of the highway, it gradually fell into oblivion, and today, only the section from Yangshan'ao Village to the foot of Dasongling remains. The road is paved with cobblestones, with stone steps and ramps. Wherever it crosses a stream, it is connected by stone arch bridges, making it a relatively sturdy structure. The pavement is approximately 1.5 meters wide, and the sides are paved with stream stones.
