Suichang Nanjianyan Scenic Area
The scenic area boasts a diverse landscape of seas of clouds, terraced fields, stone forests, bamboo forests, waterfalls, and villages. It's a popular photography destination in the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions. Rise at 5 or 6 a.m. and head to the photography gallery outside the scenic area's entrance. With luck, you might be able to capture the stunning morning mist shrouding the terraced fields. The Guanyun Pavilion offers a panoramic view of the rolling hills in the distance, making it a great viewing platform. Dakeng Village and Banling Village, nestled in the valley, are connected by a network of crisscrossing ridges, creating a delightful scene.
Suichang Gold Mine National Mining Park
The Suichang Gold Mine, officially established in 1976, is a national key gold production enterprise, known as the "First Gold Mine in Jiangnan." The completion and operation of the Suichang Gold Mine National Mining Park has unveiled the mysteries of ancient gold mining and the modern gold industry. The park boasts unique resources, including a gold production line and deep, secluded mine caves, brimming with allure and mystery. The mine boasts a long history, with numerous mining sites from the Song, Ming, and Qing dynasties, leaving behind numerous mysteries and legends, making it a prime tourist attraction. The gold mine is located in a subtropical monsoon region, blessed with stunning natural conditions, picturesque peaks and clear waters, and serene forests and lush streams.
Shenlong Valley
From beginning to end, the verdant mountains on either side and the lush waters in the center resemble two mountain dragons and one water dragon, respectively. Especially in summer, waterfalls gurgle and trees shade the sun. Hike along the plank path and soak in the surrounding greenery and coolness. The streamside trail descends through eight scenic areas: Suichang Nostalgia, Dreaming in the Garden, Forest Bathing Bar, Tang Gong Seeking Dreams, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, General Breaking Through the Wall, Dragon Emerging from the Mountain, and High Mountain Awakening. It's the perfect place for a summer getaway.
