Munigou Scenic Area is located in Muni Township, southwest of Songpan County. It is a new scenic area of Huanglong Scenic Area. Its large and small lakes can rival the Jiuzhaigou Colorful Pool, and the calcified pool waterfall can compete with Huanglong's "Yaochi" for glory.
The scenic area boasts a vibrant mix of mountains, forests, caves, and seas, with trees lining the landscape. Key attractions include Zhaga Waterfall, Muni Forest, Hundred Acres of Rhododendrons, Emerald Hot Springs, Hundred Flower Lake, Moon Lake, Swan Lake, and a cluster of karst caves. Munigou's scenery is characterized by pristine forests, alpine lakes, hot springs, giant travertine waterfalls, circular waterfalls, and colorful travertine pools. The scenic area comprises Zhaga Waterfall and Erdaohai, where mountains, water, and forests blend seamlessly.
Munigou not only has magnificent natural scenery, but also has a rich religious and cultural atmosphere. Tibetan Buddhism is integrated with natural beauty here.
