Luomu Ancient Town, also known as Qinglongchang, was one of the five towns of Emei during the Song Dynasty. It boasts a rich history. Although officially established as a county during the Tang Dynasty, the area under its jurisdiction was inhabited as early as the Shang and Zhou dynasties. Located at the foot of Er'e Mountain, which was developed even earlier than the present-day Emei Mountain (Da'e Mountain), many famous historical figures were active in the area surrounding present-day Luomu during the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
