Introducing Zengjiayuan

Zengjiayuan, also known as Zengjia Courtyard, is located in the north of Liujiang Ancient Town, Hongya County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province. It was built during the Qing Dynasty and is the only relatively well-preserved family manor in Hongya County.

The entire house is decorated with Western architectural patterns, with carved beams and painted rafters, and is magnificent. It is a model of modern Chinese and Western architecture. The Zeng Family Courtyard has thus become the most dazzling scene in Liujiang Ancient Town.

Zengjiayuan has a layout of "four courtyards and three stages", with four quadrangles and three stages. In the courtyards there are a viewing platform, an eight-character dragon gate, a ladies' building, a study, a stone archway, as well as a peony garden, a lychee garden and a leisure pavilion, which shows the luxury of the courtyard owner in the past.
