Yibin Daguan Tower is located at the intersection of West Street in the central district of Yibin City. It is one of the ancient buildings in Yibin. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and renovated in the Qing Dynasty. Looking out from the tower, the distant mountains are picturesque and the two rivers are like belts, which is refreshing and worthy of the word "Daguan".

Legend has it that beneath the building lies the Yinchuan River, where a vicious dragon frequently wreaks havoc, flooding Yibin like a vast ocean. Therefore, the tower was built to suppress its beginning, a tower (the Small Drum Tower) was built on County Government Street to suppress its tail, and nine memorial archways were erected on East Street to suppress its body. Although this is a myth, the abundant groundwater surrounding the tower's foundation is not without reason.
