Whale Valley, located 2 kilometers south of Dizhai Town in Bailuyuan and about 30 kilometers from Xi'an , sits on the border between Baqiao District and Chang'an County. Lush vegetation and lush bamboo forests abound, while winding springs flow, shimmering clear waters ripple, and spectacular waterfalls cascade down like a curtain, splashing water like pearls. The Whale Valley Natural Scenic Area is a man-made lake formed by two connected reservoirs. Stretching over three kilometers, the lake's shimmering surface is flanked by towering mountains and lush forests, creating a picturesque scene that evokes a sense of wonderland. At the entrance stands a 17- meter-long whale statue, its head spouting water 8-9 meters high, making it a perfect spot for photos.
