Introducing Longgong Guanyin Cave

Guanyin Cave is located on the hillside of Foshou Mountain, along the Xuantang River. On a vertical cliff outside Guanyin Cave, three large characters, " Guanyin Cave ," are inscribed by Mr. Zhao Puchu, Chairman of the Buddhist Association of China. Each character is 16 square meters, evocative and powerful. Outside the cave, lush forests and bamboo groves evoke the scene, prompting a scholar to describe it as follows: " A small river flows into the fields, where rice is grown; green bamboos and lush clouds fill the air. "

The lower cave of Guanyin Cave houses the Main Hall, housing towering statues of Tathagata Buddha, Medicine Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, and the Eighteen Arhats. The upper cave houses the 12.6 - meter - tall Guanyin Bodhisattva, along with the boy Sudhana and the Dragon Girl. Together, the upper and lower caves contain 27 Buddha statues, each one lifelike and lifelike. Incense curls from both halls, adding to the mysterious and solemn atmosphere.
