
Libo Xiaoqikong (Little Seven-hole Arch) is a National AAAAA-level scenic spot and a World Natural Heritage Site. It is located in the southwest of Libo County, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, 28 kilometers from the county seat. At the north end of the scenic area lies the Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge, built in 1836 during the reign of Emperor Daoguang, which derives its name from it.
As the only karst forest on the same latitude on Earth, Libo, Guizhou has earned the world-renowned title of "Emerald on the Earth's Belt". Walking among the mountains and waters of Libo, in addition to the beautiful scenery of "looking up at Zhangjiajie and looking down at Jiuzhaigou", there are also rich ethnic customs, the quaint mountain villages of the Buyi people, the unique ethnic culture of the Shui people, the peculiar customs of the Yao people, and the exquisite ethnic costumes of the Miao people...all of which are fascinating.
For those with children, why not head to Shuichun River to enjoy the thrill of the waves? At night, a trip to Libo is complete with a bowl of refreshing bayberry soup and some of Libo's ubiquitous sour food and fresh fish.
Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is a scenic area with water as its main attraction. The best time to visit is from March to May and from September to November every year when the water volume is high.
