Strongly influenced by the southeast Pacific monsoon, the eastern section of the Qilian Mountains has developed vast expanses of dense forest, with Huzhu Beishan National Forest Park being a particularly representative example. The park boasts gurgling streams, shrouded in mist, verdant pines and cypresses, lush green fields, towering ancient trees, fragrant pines and cypresses, and vibrant wildflowers, along with a wealth of wild plants.
It is suitable for escaping the heat in summer and enjoying the autumn in winter.
The Qilian Mountains are located in the transition zone between the temperate continental climate and the plateau mountain climate, and there are many mountains interlaced and uneven, thus forming diverse climatic characteristics, making the four seasons in the Qilian Mountains never very distinct. The so-called "Qilian June Snow" is a portrayal of the climate and natural landscape of the Qilian Mountains.
The Langshidang Scenic Area is the heart of the forest park. You can drive in (though you still need to purchase a shuttle ticket) and explore at your leisure. The area boasts the spectacular Shenlongtan Waterfall, the sacred and pristine Shengmu Tianchi Lake, and a vast, tranquil birch forest. The scenery is breathtaking, offering excellent photo opportunities at every turn.
The ticket is 50 yuan, the battery car is 30 yuan, a total of 80 yuan. The scenic area is very large, so it is recommended to take the battery car to play.
