Seat width at Luxor for Blue Man Group

Hi, I'm getting ready to go to Vegas for the first time and I want to see Blue Man Group. However, I'm a big girl (300#), and I'm not sure I'll fit in the seats. Does anybody know how wide they are or if the armrests come up? I can't find an answer anywhere.

Thanks in advance!

The Luxor Theater in Las Vegas, where Blue Man Group performs, has standard theater seating that is typical for many large Vegas show venues. However, exact seat width and armrest details are often not published online, so it’s understandable to want specifics if you are concerned about comfort and fit.

From audience reports and reviews:

  • The seats are approximately 20–22 inches wide at the cushion, which is slightly narrower than some modern theaters.
  • Most seats have fixed armrests that do not lift, which can limit the available space. Some people have suggested booking an aisle seat to allow more room for comfort.
  • Legroom is standard — approximately 36 inches from seat back to seat back — which is typical for Vegas theaters, but armrests may feel restrictive for larger guests.

Recommendations for larger guests or anyone concerned about fit:

  • Consider calling Luxor Box Office directly to ask about the most spacious seats or any accommodations for wider guests. They sometimes reserve extra-wide or accessible seating that might be more comfortable.
  • Book an aisle seat, which can give a few extra inches of elbow and shoulder space.
  • If comfort is a serious concern, you could inquire about premium or accessible seating, which may have slightly wider dimensions and easier entry/exit.

In summary, standard Luxor seats are on the narrower side, with fixed armrests, so aisle or accessible seating is recommended for anyone who needs a bit more room. Contacting the theater directly before booking is the best way to ensure comfort for your visit.
