Gambling in 50 casinos in 24 hours, walking only.

For reasons unknown I'm going to attempt this in 3 weeks time. Starting on Fremont street I'm going to walk to mandalay bay and gamble in every casino along the way including off strip casinos. I have 55 casinos on my list, target is minimum of 50. 24 hour time limit. The world record is 74 but they used transport. Not trying to beat that. Always wondered if it was possible to gamble the entire strip in one day and I did that last year, 33 casinos in just over 11 hours. I have decided to do it again but add Fremont into the mix, and then thought what the hey, let's make it 50.

I realise chances are slim but has anyone done similar before ???

Attempting to gamble in 50 casinos in 24 hours in Las Vegas is certainly ambitious, but with careful planning and realistic expectations, it can be done—especially since you’re limiting yourself to walking only. Doing the Strip last year and hitting 33 casinos in just over 11 hours is a solid foundation. Adding Fremont Street and some off-strip casinos adds complexity, but also makes the challenge more interesting.

Some points to consider:

  • Route Planning: Map your route meticulously. Start on Fremont Street in the morning, as it will likely be less crowded than later in the day. Then head south, hitting the casinos along the Strip sequentially. Include off-Strip casinos logically so you don’t double back unnecessarily. Walking distances between some off-Strip locations can add up, so pacing is key.
  • Time Management: Allocate a strict minimum time per casino. If your goal is simply to gamble (even placing one bet counts), plan for 10–15 minutes per casino. This helps ensure you stay on track for 50 in 24 hours.
  • Rest and Hydration: 24 hours is long for continuous walking. Schedule brief breaks to hydrate, eat, and stretch. Walking the entire route while standing at tables and slot machines is physically demanding.
  • Casino Hours: Most casinos operate 24/7, but check off-Strip locations, as smaller casinos may have specific opening hours.
  • Budget: Decide beforehand how much you’ll spend per casino. Even minimal bets across 50 casinos can add up quickly, so set limits to avoid overspending.

Some strategies others have used when attempting multi-casino challenges:

  • Start early to maximize daylight and energy for walking.
  • Focus on slot machines or minimum table bets to save time and money.
  • Use a notebook or app to track which casinos you’ve hit and what time, to stay accountable and avoid repeats.
  • Have a flexible mindset; if one casino is crowded or your pace is slowed, adjust accordingly to stay on track for the 50-casino goal.

While most records involve transport, your walking-only approach is impressive and more physically demanding. Your prior experience doing the Strip shows it’s feasible, and adding Fremont and off-Strip locations is just a matter of careful route optimization and endurance. It will be a long day, but with proper planning, hitting 50 casinos in 24 hours is achievable.
