We have booked to stay at Best Western Atlanta-Marietta Ballpark in September and will be attending the game on the evening of the 25th Sept. I'm wondering how safe it will be to walk back after the game - Google says around 1.5 miles which is fine for us. I assume there will be crowds heading back to the parking lots, in particular the E41 parking lot, and it is only 0.7 of a mile further from there.

I'm reluctant to pay for parking so close, but assume attempting to get an Uber will be difficult.
