How is the Rio resort?

I've read some reviews on it not sure about it we have a trip coming up we have a suite there and I've read it did have bed bugs 😱 I hope it doesn't.. any advice ?thanks♥️

The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is a well-known property located just off the Strip. It has been around for many years and is famous for its all-suite accommodations, vibrant nightlife, and the annual World Series of Poker events. The resort offers a mix of rooms, entertainment options, restaurants, and a casino experience that appeals to a wide range of guests.

Regarding the concerns you mentioned, there have been occasional reports over the years of bed bugs, but this is not unique to the Rio—it can happen at many large hotels anywhere. The hotel management typically addresses such issues quickly. Reading recent reviews can give a better sense of current cleanliness standards, as experiences may vary from room to room.

Some tips and advice to ensure a comfortable stay at the Rio:

  • Inspect the room upon arrival, especially bedding and furniture, for any signs of pests.
  • Consider requesting a room away from high-traffic areas or previously reported issues if possible.
  • Keep luggage elevated and away from the bed or furniture, which helps minimize any risk.
  • Read recent guest reviews on multiple platforms to gauge current conditions and housekeeping standards.

Overall, the Rio offers spacious suites and many amenities, but it is an older property compared to newer resorts on the Strip. Some guests enjoy its vibrant atmosphere, while others may prefer a more modern or quiet experience. If you have any concerns, contacting the hotel directly before arrival to ask about room condition and housekeeping standards can provide peace of mind.

In summary, the Rio is generally considered a decent, iconic Las Vegas resort with lots to offer, but like any large hotel, experiences can vary. Following basic precautions and staying informed with recent reviews should help ensure a safe and pleasant visit.
