bringing a Dalmatian
We're going to meet friends for one night in October as we drive from NJ to JAX.
I'm seeking recommendations on hotels. We'd like to be in the center of everything so we can walk. Clean is important but I don't want to break the bank. Would prefer under $300 per night and also the lowest extra cost for the dog. Usually on this road trip we opt for Red Roof Inns because pets are free. I don't think that chain has a property in the city proper. Location & convenience are important given the short stay.
What restaurants & bars allow dogs? We went to St. Neo's last time which was lovely & they were so nice to the Dalmatian but we'd like to try something else this time. We need dinner & cocktails on Saturday night then brunch on Sunday.
Are there any particular activities that we shouldn't miss that we can bring the dog on Sunday afternoon? I thought I read something about a walking ghost tour
