The Mardi Gras in New Orleans is on our bucket list! I’m starting to plan now. Mardi Gras is Feb. 17 next year. Ideally we will book an AirBNB on a streetcar line and use a JazzyPass to get around. We are planning to arrive about a week beforehand and return on Feb. 18th. We will buy grandstand tickets for the Rex, Muses, and Krewe of Barkus parades if they occur during our stay. Can those in the know recommend a good neighborhood to stay in as well as any thing else we should consider?
