ORD T5 to Hotel Shuttle Stop

Hi,

I have searched for this but I found no information. I'll be arriving at ORD T5 (Delta) and I have been told that the hotel shuttle stop is located outside T2. How to move from T5 to T2 with plenty of luggage? Thank you so much!

To travel from Terminal 5 (T5) to Terminal 2 (T2) at O'Hare for your hotel shuttle, you have a few options, but it’s important to plan your route since you’ll be handling plenty of luggage.

Here are some suggestions for getting from T5 to T2:

  • Airport Shuttle Bus: O'Hare operates a free airport shuttle bus service that connects all terminals. The bus stop is located on the lower level outside of T5. You can take the bus to T2. The shuttle runs frequently and should be a convenient option for getting to T2 with your luggage. Make sure to check the shuttle schedules upon arrival, as they can vary based on traffic and demand.
  • Walking: If you prefer to walk, there is a pedestrian walkway connecting the terminals. However, this route can be a bit long and may not be ideal with a lot of luggage. It’s roughly a 10-minute walk, and you'll need to navigate through the terminal hallways, but it's doable if you don't mind a little extra time and effort.
  • Taxi or Ride-sharing: If you prefer a more direct route, you can always opt for a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft. These services can pick you up outside of T5 and drop you off right at the hotel shuttle stop at T2. This option is a bit more expensive, but it may be worth considering if you're carrying a lot of luggage and want a more convenient transfer.

If you're in a rush or want a stress-free transfer, the shuttle bus is probably your best bet, but all options should work depending on your comfort level with navigating O'Hare.

Safe travels, and enjoy your time in Chicago!
