Doggy daycares
Could anyone give me advice on who they use and recommend for 2 days of doggy daycare in the Albany Georgia area? I have a French bulldog and a Boston terrier. My frenchie doesn’t know how to chew or jump. I just need her safe and happy and hopefully not getting sick from the stay. They won’t be boarded just there for daycare. Thanks for any advice. We will
be in Albany a few days this fall.
For doggy daycare in Albany, Georgia, here are a few places that you might consider for your French bulldog and Boston terrier. It's great that you're prioritizing safety and comfort for them!
- Albany Animal Clinic - This clinic offers pet boarding and daycare services and has a reputation for being caring and professional with dogs. They are used to handling different breeds and can accommodate dogs that need extra attention. It’s always a good idea to call ahead and discuss your pets' specific needs, especially since your Frenchie has unique care requirements.
- Woof Woof Inn - Known for its friendly staff and clean facilities, Woof Woof Inn provides dog daycare services and is particularly good with small and medium-sized dogs. They offer group play, but you can inquire if they can provide more individualized care for your French bulldog, given her special needs.
- Petco Albany - The Petco in Albany offers doggy daycare services as well. They are a chain with solid safety standards, and their daycare provides a good balance of playtime and rest. It's a convenient option if you're looking for a more familiar brand. Check with them to make sure they can accommodate your dogs' needs.
- Petsmart Albany - Similar to Petco, Petsmart provides daycare services. They focus on ensuring that all dogs are comfortable and safe while their owners are away. Ask about their cleanliness standards and whether they can provide individual attention for your French bulldog.
For the safety of your dogs, especially given that your Frenchie might need special care, it’s important to ask about their cleanliness practices, how they handle food allergies (if applicable), and whether they can separate dogs that might need extra attention from others. Also, many daycares require a meet-and-greet prior to the actual daycare stay, so plan ahead to make sure everything goes smoothly.
I hope this helps, and I’m sure your pups will enjoy their time in Albany!
