We will be in Las Vegas staying at the horseshoe for one night for the start of a Trafalgar tour leaving Las Vegas to go to other parks. We are going to arrive in Las Vegas three nights ahead of time as we’ve never been there before. I am reading recent reviews of the horseshoe that don’t look good at all. I’m looking for recommendations for hotels near the horseshoe so that we don’t have to drag our bags too far on our required one night stay there with our tour. Or do you guys who have been there already feel that the horseshoe is an OK place to stay? We’re not looking for anywhere super fancy. We are not big gamblers. We just want someplace that’s clean and in a good location. Does the horseshoe fit that or should we spend our three nights somewhere else?
