Off site parking to Braves Game

This will be my second time to a Braves game, the last one in your old Stadium - Turner Field.

My husband and I just bought baseball tickets, but Ticketmaster says there is no on site parking available. I’d love to hear anyone give some safer parking lots or garages. I’m sure everything’s relatively safe, but living in the city areas near Baltimore or DC sporting events or long term airport pairing, I try to be a little more careful.

Thanks!! Can’t wait to see your lovely Atlanta area!!

It’s great that you’re coming to see a Braves game in Atlanta! While it’s true that on-site parking at Truist Park (the Braves' new stadium) can sometimes be sold out or limited, there are several nearby off-site parking options that are safe, convenient, and reasonably priced. Here are some suggestions:

1. The Georgia State Parking Decks

  • Located about a mile from Truist Park, these parking decks offer a safe option for parking. You can park here for a reasonable rate and either walk to the stadium or take a shuttle.
  • Shuttles are typically available from the parking deck to the stadium, which makes it a convenient choice.

2. ParkMobile Lots

  • Atlanta’s ParkMobile service allows you to reserve parking in nearby lots and garages for Braves games. You can check availability and pricing ahead of time through the ParkMobile app or website.
  • There are a number of ParkMobile lots near Truist Park, many of which are located in safe, well-lit areas.

3. The Battery Atlanta Parking Decks

  • The Battery Atlanta is a mixed-use development right next to Truist Park, and there are several parking garages located here. Some of the lots are dedicated to stadium parking, while others are open to the public.
  • These garages tend to fill up quickly, so it's worth looking for availability ahead of time or arriving early.

4. Hotel Parking Lots

  • If you’re staying in a nearby hotel, some of them offer parking for Braves game-goers for a fee. Some examples include the Omni Hotel at The Battery and the Residence Inn by Marriott.
  • If you’re not staying at the hotel, they may still allow you to park for a daily fee, but you may need to check with the hotel to confirm.

5. Off-site Lots with Shuttle Service

  • There are several private lots around Truist Park that offer parking for Braves games. Some of these lots provide shuttle service directly to the stadium.
  • Examples of shuttle services include the "Park & Ride" lots on nearby streets like Circle 75 Parkway and Cobb Parkway. These lots are often a good option if you want to avoid the hassle of street parking.

6. Street Parking

  • If you're comfortable with street parking, there are some metered parking spaces near Truist Park. Just be sure to check parking signs and meters for any time limits or restrictions. Metered parking may be less expensive but can be harder to find during peak times.

7. Safety Tips

  • While most parking lots around Truist Park are safe, always take basic precautions. Avoid leaving valuables in your car, and try to park in well-lit, busy areas.
  • If you’re parking farther away, consider using a lot with shuttle service, as it can be more convenient and reduce the walk after the game.

Enjoy your visit to Atlanta and the Braves game! The city has a lot to offer, and the area around Truist Park is vibrant and safe. With a little planning, you'll have an easy time finding a good parking spot.
