Place to keep backpack while watching show at Sphere

Hello,

We are booked for a show in the Sphere. We will be out walking all day and the show is in the middle of the day. The problem is, we will have a backpack with us as we will be out the whole day, and Sphere doesn't allow backpacks, and apparently doesn't check them in as well.

Any suggestions/advice on where we can keep our backpack while we watch the show? Is there any place where we can check them in for about a couple of hours, even for a small price? Do hotels (not where I am staying) keep them as courtesy?

Thanks.

If you're attending a show at The Sphere in Las Vegas and need a place to store your backpack, there are several options available, as many venues do not allow large bags for security reasons. Here's what you can do:

  • Hotel Concierge Services: Many hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, especially those near The Sphere, offer luggage storage services, even if you're not staying there. Some may charge a small fee, but it’s worth asking the concierge if they can hold your backpack for a couple of hours while you're at the show. Always check with the hotel in advance to confirm their policy and availability.
  • Bag Check Services: There are companies in Las Vegas that offer luggage and backpack storage for a fee. These services are designed for tourists who need a place to keep their bags while they explore the city. Some well-known services include LuggageHero and Bounce, which have locations near the Strip. You can drop off your bag at these locations and pick it up later, usually for a small hourly or daily fee.
  • Nearby Casinos or Venues: Some casinos and larger venues in the area may offer bag check services. While it's not guaranteed, it's worth asking the customer service desks at nearby casinos or attractions if they can store your bag for a short period. Be aware that not all places may offer this service, but it’s worth checking.
  • Self-Storage Lockers: There are self-storage lockers at various locations around the Las Vegas Strip where you can securely store your belongings for a few hours. These lockers are typically available at transportation hubs or larger shopping centers. Again, check online for locker rental locations near The Sphere.

Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that a hotel will hold your backpack as a courtesy if you’re not staying there, as this would typically only be available to registered guests. However, if you're willing to pay a small fee, the options above should provide a convenient solution to keep your backpack safe during the show.

In any case, make sure to plan ahead and allow extra time to drop off your backpack before the show to avoid any rush. Enjoy the performance!
