Hi travelling to Orlando FLorida from UK and staying in a villa/driving From May22-June7, so will need to use data/phone/text for google maps as well as accessing things like mydisney app and booking restaurants etc. I can't use my giffgaff plan in US without incurring substantial charges. My mobile is unlocked and has dual SIM and also supports eSIM. Wondering what the best prepaid SIM/eSIM which will give enough data/allow international calls etc. Have been googling but there are so many US providers/Networks that I'm unsure which gives best coverage for best value. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you
For travelers from the UK visiting Orlando, Florida, using data for navigation, apps like MyDisney, and making calls, a prepaid SIM or eSIM is a convenient option. Since your phone is unlocked and supports dual SIM/eSIM, you have flexibility in choosing a provider that balances coverage, data allowance, and cost.
In Central Florida, major networks like Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile provide excellent coverage, particularly for driving to theme parks, villas, and rural areas. For short-term visitors, prepaid plans or travel-specific eSIMs are usually the best value and simplest to manage.
For eSIM options, several international-friendly providers offer digital delivery, which can be convenient for immediate use upon arrival without visiting a store:
Tips for choosing a plan:
Overall, T-Mobile or AT&T prepaid SIMs offer the best combination of coverage and value for a stay in Orlando, while Airalo or Nomad eSIMs provide convenience and instant activation for tourists who prefer not to handle a physical SIM card.
