Alamo at LAX

We are collecting a car from Alamo 3 days after landing at LAX. We have booked a car to pick us up from our hotel to take us back to LAX, but how do we get to the Alamo desk to get the car? Thanks

At Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the Alamo car rental desk is not located directly inside the terminals. Instead, all rental car companies, including Alamo, operate out of the centralized Rental Car Center (RCC), which is a short distance from the airport terminals.

Here’s how you can get to the Alamo desk:

Once your hotel shuttle drops you at LAX, you need to get to the LAX Rental Car Center. Most hotels that provide airport shuttles can either drop you at the designated Rental Car Center stop or at your terminal with signs directing you to the shuttles that go to the RCC.
From the terminals, there is a free LAX Shuttle Bus labeled "Rental Car Center" (usually the “Airline Connections” green route). Board this shuttle, which will take you directly to the RCC.
Once at the Rental Car Center, follow the signs for Alamo. The desk is inside the center where you can check in, present your reservation, driver’s license, and credit card, and complete any paperwork.

Additional tips:

The RCC is a large facility with multiple rental companies, so allow extra time for parking, pickup, and traffic around LAX.
If you have luggage, the RCC has carts available to help transport your bags to the Alamo counter.
After checking in at Alamo, they will direct you to the shuttle or area where your car is parked within the RCC lot.
